This site is dedicated to the memory of Debbie Johnston.
Debbie was born on July 13, 1964. She was diagnosed with NHL by chance in 2014 after undergoing surgery for a fractured shoulder. She bravely and positively coped with numerous treatments but sadly lost her battle in December 2015. Deb is a much loved and missed mum, wife, daughter, sister and friend. This site will hopefully convey her zest for life and vivacious character.

Am so incredibly sad to come across this memorial for Debbie. We worked together at the BBC many, many years ago and enjoyed some fun times together. When Debbie met Al and they set up in Chamonix we had a place near Geneva and tried many times to get together but it just didn't pan out. I'm so gutted now that we never got to meet up. I know she adored her family life in the mountains. There's a lesson there - never put things off :(
To cap it all, we're dealing with NHL in our family which is a very cruel disease.
I just wanted to send love and thoughts to Al, their children and all of Debbie's family and close friends and I'll continue to remember our BBC times extremely fondly. X
